Arrow Wine & Spirits has grown into a leading Tri-State destination over the past 90 years for wine, beer, and liquor, with locations in Kettering, Centerville, and Mason. Known for rare finds, custom services, and weekly tastings, each store features over 2,000 wine labels, a wide range of premium beers, and the largest liquor selection in Ohio.
1934
During the Great Depression, three brothers—Irv, Malcolm, and Fritz Frank—started a liquor delivery service after noticing long lines at liquor stores. They offered their service for just a quarter, and named it “Arrow” to reflect their commitment to quick service.

By the 1940s, the business had grown to six locations in the Dayton area, solidifying Arrow’s place in the local community.
2020
Arrow Wine expanded to Mason, opening a new store that provided an even larger selection of wines, beers, and spirits, alongside its growing reputation as a community hub for tastings and events.
1935
The brothers opened their first store in 1935 at 39 S. Ludlow St., across from the Arcade in Dayton, expanding their offerings to include wines, beers, and cordials in addition to spirits.
1974
Arrow Wine opened a new store on Miamisburg-Centerville Road, expanding to meet the growing demand for quality alcohol and beverages in the Dayton region
2024
Arrow Wine celebrated 90 years with a holiday party at the Centerville store, featuring 100 wines and hors d’oeuvres. The family continues to manage and expand the business with Beth Freyvogel and Mif Frank, third-generation owners, leading the way.
In 2024, the Kettering location was updated with new flooring, fixtures, and shelving to enhance the shopping experience. A similar facelift for the Centerville store is planned for the future.
